An Infor LN Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting solutions within the Infor LN ERP environment to ensure smooth and efficient business operations across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom solutions, reports, and enhancements in Infor LN
- Design and implement integrations using APIs, web services, EDI, and middleware (e.g. ION)
- Support system upgrades, patches, and migrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in LN modules
- Work with functional consultants and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support data migration and system testing (unit, integration, UAT)
- Optimize system performance and ensure stable ERP operations
- Document technical designs and maintain system documentation
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Infor LN development/customization (Baan tools, 4GL, DAL, or LN Studio)
- Knowledge of LN modules (manufacturing, logistics, procurement, finance)
- Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, ION, EDI, JSON)
- SQL and database understanding
- Problem-solving and debugging skills
- Understanding of ERP business processes
Nice to Have
- Experience with Infor OS / Infor CloudSuite
- Cloud migration or upgrade experience
- Manufacturing or supply chain industry exposure
- Agile / ERP project lifecycle experience
