Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced IFS Service Management Consultant to support a major IFS programme for a leading organisation operating within the field service sector.
This is a hands-on contract opportunity for a consultant who possesses deep expertise in IFS Cloud, particularly within the Service Management and Next Generation Service Management (NGSM) modules. The successful consultant will play a key role in supporting implementation activities, process optimisation, and business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the implementation and optimisation of IFS Service Management and NGSM solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical IFS solutions.
- Configure and advise on best-practice service management processes within IFS.
- Facilitate workshops, process reviews, and solution design sessions.
- Support testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live preparation.
- Provide functional expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business users to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve service operations and field service processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with IFS Cloud, including the latest releases.
- Strong expertise in both Service Management and Next Generation Service Management (NGSM) modules.
- Proven track record of participating in full IFS implementation projects from design through to go-live.
- Practical consulting experience supporting customers through IFS transformation and implementation journeys.
- Strong understanding of field service operations and service delivery processes.
- Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent workshop facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Highly Desirable Experience
- Experience working within organisations that provide services and maintenance on customer-owned equipment.
- Understanding of service-centric business models where the organisation manages, maintains, or repairs assets owned by customers.
- Previous experience within industries such as industrial services, engineering services, maintenance services, utilities, or field service organisations.
