About the Role
A leading manufacturing company in Norway is seeking a senior IFS / ERP specialist to take ownership of their enterprise system. This is a strategic role, responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting the company’s IFS environment across production and operational teams.
The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations, continuous improvements, and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary senior IFS expert within the organization.

Take ownership of the configuration, management, and optimization of the IFS ERP system.

Support and guide production and operational teams in the use of IFS.

Provide 2nd-level support, escalating complex issues to vendor support as needed.

Deliver internal training and mentoring to strengthen knowledge and system adoption.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to optimize ERP processes and system functionality.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Skills:

Extensive experience in ERP/IFS systems, ideally including IFS Applications 8, 9, or 10.

Strong understanding of ERP architecture, customizations, and production workflows.

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and advise teams.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
