MS Business Central Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled MS Business Central Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of our Business Central solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that improve operations, support growth, and align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver scalable solutions.

• Develop extensions, integrations, and workflows using AL language and other relevant technologies.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues, ensuring smooth performance.

• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and other developers to implement new functionality.

• Maintain documentation for customizations, processes, and integrations.

• Stay current with Microsoft updates, best practices, and industry trends.

• Support deployment, testing, and ongoing system improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV) development.

• Strong knowledge of AL programming language (and C/AL if applicable).

• Experience with extensions (v2.0), APIs, and system integrations.

• Solid understanding of ERP concepts and business processes (finance, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.).

• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Git, and DevOps tools.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Azure services and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).

• Knowledge of SQL and database management.

• Previous experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Microsoft certifications in Business Central or Dynamics 365.
