Technical Consultant – Infor LN (OP 10.5) Data Archiving

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Infor LN OP 10.5, specializing in data archiving, system optimization, and database performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data archiving solutions to ensure system efficiency, compliance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data archiving strategies in Infor LN OP 10.5
  • Analyze large datasets and identify archivable data based on business and compliance requirements
  • Execute and monitor archiving runs, ensuring data integrity and system performance
  • Collaborate with functional teams to define archiving policies and retention rules
  • Optimize database performance through data purging and archiving techniques
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to archived data retrieval and system performance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for archiving processes
  • Support upgrades, migrations, and system audits related to archived data
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory standards
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users and stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Infor LN (especially OP 10.5)
  • Hands-on expertise in Data Archiving, Data Purging, and Data Retention strategies
  • Proficiency in Infor LN Tools (DAL, 4GL, sessions, tables, etc.)
  • Experience with database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar)
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and database optimization
  • Familiarity with batch jobs, job scheduling, and automation
  • Understanding of data compliance and governance standards
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Infor LN upgrades or cloud environments
  • Knowledge of Infor OS / ION integration
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or ERP environments
  • Exposure to data migration and ETL processes
