About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infor PLM Consultant to support digital transformation and product development optimisation across manufacturing environments. This role involves working closely with Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure Infor PLM is effectively implemented, configured, and adopted within real operational workflows.

The position is offered on a hybrid basis, requiring regular on-site collaboration in Bayern, Germany, combined with remote work.

Fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential for stakeholder communication and end-user support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support Infor PLM implementation and enhancement projects within manufacturing organisations.
  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into system configuration.
  • Configure Infor PLM for Process to support product lifecycle workflows, formulation/design, BOM management, compliance, and change control.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, Production, QA, and Supply Chain teams to align PLM workflows to real-world manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare functional design documentation, testing scripts, training guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support data migration, master data structuring, and system integration with ERP/MES systems (Infor LN).
  • Deliver end-user training and ongoing support, ensuring strong adoption and efficient system use.
  • Identify ongoing process improvement and system optimisation opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working with Infor PLM in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of product development workflows, formulation or engineering change management, and BOM structures.
  • Ability to turn business process requirements into effective PLM system configuration.
  • Experience integrating PLM solutions with ERP systems, ideally Infor.
  • Fluent German language skills (professional proficiency required).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and training delivery skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing sectors such as food & beverage, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, consumer goods, aerospace, or automotive.
  • Familiarity with Infor CloudSuite architecture.
  • Degree in Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, or related field (advantageous but not essential).
  • Infor or PLM software certifications are a plus.
