Infor M3 Technical Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infor M3 Technical Consultant to join our client’s growing ERP team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting technical solutions within the M3 environment, ensuring systems run smoothly and support evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and customize Infor M3 using tools such as MEC, H5, XtendM3, SQL, and APIs.

• Design and maintain integrations between M3 and external systems (ION, middleware, EDI, etc.).

• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.

• Support M3 upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization projects.

• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Create technical documentation, specifications, and test plans.

• Ensure system performance, security, and scalability across the M3 landscape.

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Infor M3 technical development (XtendM3, H5 scripting, APIs, SQL, MEC, ION, etc.).

• Solid understanding of M3 data structures, workflows, and integrations.

• Experience working on implementations, upgrades, or large enhancement projects.

• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (Infor CloudSuite) is a plus.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• 3+ years of experience in a technical M3 role.

• Infor certifications are an advantage.
