Overview

We are seeking an experienced IFS Product Owner with a strong technical background to lead the development, optimization, and strategic direction of our IFS landscape. This role will act as the key link between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners, ensuring scalable and efficient IFS solutions across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong functional knowledge of IFS with hands-on technical understanding, enabling them to drive system enhancements, integrations, process improvements, and long-term platform strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the IFS application roadmap, backlog, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable IFS solutions.
  • Work closely with technical teams, developers, and external vendors on system enhancements and integrations.
  • Support and optimize core IFS modules including Service Management, EAM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Finance.
  • Lead workshops, process mapping sessions, and solution design discussions.
  • Prioritize business requirements and manage delivery across Agile project environments.
  • Oversee testing activities including SIT, UAT, and release validation.
  • Support integration architecture, APIs, data flows, and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure system stability, governance, security, and best practices across the IFS environment.
  • Drive user adoption, documentation, and training initiatives where required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience working with IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud.
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner, Functional Consultant, Solution Architect, or Technical Lead within IFS environments.
  • Technical understanding of integrations, APIs, SQL, data structures, and system architecture.
  • Experience working across end-to-end business processes and enterprise system landscapes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business-facing communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and IT teams effectively.
  • Experience with process optimization and digital transformation initiatives.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with IFS Cloud migrations or upgrade projects.
  • Exposure to Azure, middleware platforms, or enterprise integration tools.
  • Knowledge of EAM, FSM, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Finance modules.
  • Experience managing external implementation partners and offshore teams.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
