Freelance IFS Functional Consultant – Manufacturing, Warehousing & Supply Chain

We are supporting a major IFS Cloud implementation project and are looking for an experienced Freelance IFS Functional Consultant with strong expertise across Manufacturing, Warehousing and Supply Chain operations.

This role will play a key part in supporting operational users through implementation, testing, training and post-go-live activities across multiple manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support IFS Cloud functional activities across Manufacturing, Warehousing and SCM modules
• Work closely with operational stakeholders to map, analyse and document business processes
• Support workshop/workshop planning and operational manufacturing processes
• Manage and support end-to-end supply chain flows including purchasing, production and distribution
• Support serial tracking and shelf-life handling processes within IFS
• Assist with UAT planning, test scenario creation and execution activities
• Deliver user training and create clear functional documentation for end users
• Provide post-go-live hypercare support and issue resolution
• Support change management activities within a manufacturing environment transitioning from legacy systems
• Work alongside site users to improve adoption of IFS Cloud processes and best practices

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on IFS functional consulting experience within:
  • Manufacturing
  • Warehousing
  • Supply Chain Management
• Experience with operational manufacturing environments
• Understanding of manual production reporting processes and barcode-scan based production capture
• Experience supporting workshop/workshop planning processes
• Strong UAT and testing experience including scenario and test case creation
• Experience delivering training to operational and shop-floor users
• Strong process mapping and documentation capabilities
• Previous involvement in go-live and hypercare activities
• Excellent stakeholder communication and change management skills

Language Requirements

• German language skills are mandatory
• English language skills are highly beneficial

Additional Information

• The workload may temporarily reduce during summer periods while additional IFS Cloud deployments take place at other sites
• Long-term extension potential depending on project progress and hypercare requirements
