IFS Functional Consultant (Freelance / Contract)
Location: Remote / Hybrid
Contract Length: 6–12 months (extension likely)
Start Date: ASAP
We are supporting a leading organisation currently delivering a critical phase of their IFS ERP programme, and are looking for an experienced IFS Functional Consultant to join on a freelance basis.
This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in driving business process improvements, system optimisation, and supporting ongoing IFS initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional workshops with business stakeholders across key modules
- Gather and translate business requirements into IFS solutions
- Configure and optimise IFS (Finance / Supply Chain / Manufacturing depending on your expertise)
- Support testing phases (SIT/UAT) and resolve functional issues
- Provide best-practice guidance to improve system utilisation
- Assist with training, documentation, and user adoption
- Support go-live activities and post-go-live stabilisation
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an IFS Functional Consultant (Apps 10 / IFS Cloud)
- Strong knowledge in at least one core module:
- Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets)
- Supply Chain (Procurement, Inventory, Logistics)
- Manufacturing / Projects
- End-to-end implementation or upgrade experience
- Ability to work closely with both business and technical teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus)
