IFS Business Development Job Description

As part of the Business Development Team, you will play a crucial role in providing essential sales support and spearheading market development efforts. An understanding of IFS Applications, aligned with the targeted prospects' and customers' requirements, will be essential. Your mission is to showcase the expertise and confidence necessary to position IFS ERP as the preferred Business Solution for potential prospects and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate the development of new and existing prospects within the designated territory (Nordics)
  • Establish and maintain communication with early-stage prospects.
  • Navigate through 'Gatekeepers' to secure access to relevant individuals within prospective organisations.
  • Act as the first responder to all new prospect leads generated by Marketing.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing prospects throughout the lead development process.
  • Conduct high-level engagement and qualify them as valid sales opportunities.
  • Convert prospect leads into a sales pipeline.
  • Sustain relationships with a targeted group of accounts.
  • Execute campaigns within the assigned territory to stimulate additional demand.
  • Effectively maintain and leverage the sales/marketing database.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Norwegian and English is a minimum requirement. (Japanese is an advantage).
  • Experience in IFS ERP Applications.
  • Previous experience in an early-stage business development role.
  • Proven experience in software telemarketing, inside sales, or software sales for enterprise accounts.
  • Inherent curiosity and willingness to learn IFS Applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
