FSM Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the implementation of IFS FSM modules across service operations.

  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs.

  • Configure FSM processes including work orders, scheduling & dispatch, workforce planning, mobile solutions, SLAs, parts, and service logistics.

  • Support integration work between FSM and IFS Cloud/Apps (SCM, Manufacturing, Finance, HR, CRM, etc.).

  • Carry out system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training for key users and field technicians.

  • Work closely with project managers to ensure deliverables are on track and aligned with overall programme timelines.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide post-go-live support.

  • Document solution design, processes, and configuration.

  • Advise on best practices and opportunities for service optimisation.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience working with IFS FSM (functional or technical).

  • Strong understanding of field service processes: scheduling, dispatch, work order management, mobile field service, parts & returns.

  • Experience in IFS Cloud or IFS Applications 10 preferred.

  • Knowledge of integration touchpoints between FSM and core ERP modules (SCM, Inventory, Finance, HR, etc.).

  • Ability to run workshops and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience delivering end-to-end FSM implementations is a strong advantage.

  • Fluent German

  • Ability to travel as required.
