In the middle of implementing Aurena with APPs 10, a company in Aerospace and Defence faced a challenge. They needed someone with special manufacturing skills, but after six weeks of searching, their recruitment team couldn't find any suitable candidates with the experience or skillset (MRP or Material Resource Planning) they required. That's when we stepped in to assist.

Recruitment Process
Material Resource Planning (MRP) Expert
The company required a certified IFS Manufacturing consultant specialising in IFS Material Resource Planning (MRP) with prior implementation experience on APPs 10 / Aurena. When IT Works intervened, we leveraged our extensive network of specialists built over two decades to identify 5 qualified candidates interested in the role. Satisfied with the options presented, the client shortlisted 3 profiles for interviews. During the interview phase, the client selected the best fit based on location, experience, and skill set.
Ultimately, the client narrowed their choice to one candidate and extended the offer to a contractor with 16 years of experience in the IFS market (from APPs 7 to IFS Cloud).
MRP Support
The IFS MRP Consultant seamlessly integrated into the team, quickening project momentum. Providing specialised MRP support, the hired manufacturing expert assisted in calculating part requirements using data from master scheduling, manufacturing structures, and inventory. With the implementation spanning multiple global sites, the presence of an experienced MRP consultant ensured project deadlines were realigned with initial plans, and potential setbacks effectively managed.
