Job description

​Qualifications and knowledge

  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent

  • Extensive expertise in ERP application enhancement/development, ideally gained in an agile & cloud environment

  • Significant ERP project implementation & upgrade experience

  • Detailed knowledge of ERP platforms (ideally including Epicor ERP cloud platform)

  • Experienced in writing Business Activity Queries (BAQs), SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) development, Business Process Management (BPM) automation & BI reporting/dashboards

  • A good understanding of manufacturing, ideally gained working with or for an electronics manufacturer

  • A background in the gathering and analysis of business requirements

Skills and experience

  • Successfully delivered workstreams over numerous IT projects, working from conception to closure

  • Proven background in engaging with stakeholders, in a professional, clear and communicative manner, whilst representing your organisation and advocating best practice

  • Skilled at working with operational resources and subject matter experts, capturing and documenting technology and business oriented requirements

  • Experience in coordinating and facilitating workshops, capturing outputs and guiding attendees through user journeys/processes and ERP functionality

  • Previous experience with coordinating and supporting the cleansing, mapping, migration and validation of data between old and new platforms (ideally cloud platforms)

  • A background in working with external partners and suppliers in support of meeting project objectives

  • Knowledge of multiple mainstream ERP solutions from tier 1 & 2 provides (ideally, including Epicor cloud ERP)

  • Demonstrable development experience, ideally with C-sharp (or similar, Java, C++), BAQs, SQL/SSRS, BPM automation & BI reporting / dashboards

  • Ability to provide second line application support, capturing, analysing, documenting and resolving issues as they arise
