​After several years working as an Area Sales Manager, Joe found himself ready for a new challenge but was unsure which direction to take. A colleague, who had previously moved into recruitment recommended the sector, feeling that Joe had the skills and personality to really succeed there. Researching leading recruitment agencies Joe soon found IT Works and the rest, as they say, is history!

As our expert in PACS Joe is passionate about his area within the Healthcare IT market and enjoys working with clients to find the perfect resource to help them continue to grow and improve their organisation. The continuing improvements in this specific area are something Joe follows closely, not only to ensure his professional knowledge remains first class but also from a “patient” perspective. Joe is constantly amazed and impressed with the changing technology of PACS and the part it plays in saving and prolonging lives as well as diagnosing illnesses and disease.

As a child Joe moved around a lot with his family, spending time living in Spain, Essex and the Lake District but it was his hometown of Preston that won him over and he found himself returning to his routes. Joe is the “joker” in our team, always bringing the wit to the office with his humour and accents – although he would say he is exceptionally good at regional accents, we are not yet convinced. On leaving school Joe originally trained as a chef and although it wasn’t the career path for him, he still enjoys spending time in the kitchen and claims to make a mean steak!
