Dean Gibson

IFS Specialist

Immediately after leaving school, Dean embarked on a retail career with Booths. Having started as a General Assistant at just sixteen years old, Dean’s focus and determination enabled him to rise up the business to become Store Manager, with responsibility for large teams delivering exceptional levels of customer service.

Like many of us, Dean started to question his career path and soon concluded that he was ready for a new challenge. Looking for a role that would offer him new opportunities, different rewards, true job satisfaction and a long-term career, Dean soon found himself at IT Works.

As one of our IFS experts, Dean specialises in the contract market and has found his previous business experience invaluable. He has leveraged his knowledge in industries where IFS ERP Software is predominantly used, which is largely with clients and candidates who specialise in Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Procurement. One of the things he enjoys most about his role is being able to talk on a basic level with niche IT experts, understanding their experience and specialisms, and using this to match their perfect resource or role.

Away from the office Dean loves nothing more than being able to spend quality time with his two amazing young sons. If you have read one of his many blogs, you might have also guessed that our IFS expert is a proud Prestonian and loves all things Northern!

Like many of the niche areas IT Works operate within, the IFS sector is fast paced and dynamic.Dean has incredibly strong relationships with contractors and clients. He is easy to talk to, a great listener, understands the market, and is trusted within the industry.

“Being able to truly understand the pain points many of my clients face allows me to offer then solutions that really do work for them and my contractors find themselves in roles they are perfectly suited to.It really is a win win.”
