The festive season is in full swing and Christmas is coming up fast. With New Year’s Eve following on not long behind it, thoughts are turning to 2022. As with many of our clients, however, we started planning for the new year quite a while ago.
Catching Up on New Years’ Planning
There are some industries which always find themselves thinking a season or more ahead. Fashion businesses, marketers, many manufacturing companies, and, yes, recruiters, will always be thinking about what might come next. Our businesses have a huge focus on lead time.
If your business plan calls for you to implement, upgrade, or migrate between ERPs in early 2022, do you have the personnel in place yet? Many of the best contractors already know which projects they’ll be working on for the first quarter if not the first half of the year.
Not having your team locked down at this point makes it unlikely – but not impossible – that you’ll be getting started within January.
There is still a possibility, of course – but it gets smaller every day.

Wait for the end of the candidate’s notice period
